Mintos is one of Europe’s largest peer to peer lending platforms. As you all know by now, I’ve been reluctant to invest too much into this type of asset in the past. Until now. Since a few months I invest through Mintos, and I’m quite happy so far! Today you can read all about my personal Mintos review!
UPDATE 8 APRIL 2020: it seems that Grupeer might be a scam. I strongly advise against putting in any new money into this platform. More information can be found here. There is are preparations for a lawsuit. You can participate here.
I’ve never been a big fan of peer to peer lending as an investment tool, until I discovered platforms like Grupeer and Mintos. In the past, I’ve tried a little bit of crowdlending on Dutch platforms but I don’t like the low returns, with the only potential being downwards. Then on top of that, the loans are very illiquid, meaning I can’t access my money for several years.
My investment strategy is 100% based around investments in the stock market, and I am actively looking to diversify into real estate too. As an experiment, I have invested in two crowdlending projects, but I don’t really like this type of investing. Today I’ll discuss my problems with Dutch peer to peer lending platforms.
